Volunteer Centre
Selby District Volunteer Centre
The Volunteer Centre project is funded from North Yorkshire County Council Community Fund. The purpose of the centre is to expand volunteering and create an inclusive range of accessible and valued opportunities to volunteer in Selby District.
Kathy Donnelly is the Volunteer Champion and enables the Volunteer Centre to achieve its purpose. Kathy’s role is to promote volunteering across Selby District and the benefits volunteering can bring to people and their communities.
The Volunteer Centre is the central point in the district for information on existing and new volunteering opportunities. From this point volunteers and organisations are able to find out about current best practice in volunteering and access guidance, training and support.
The Volunteer Centre will provides a database which will offers a matching service to link people wanting to volunteer with organisations requiring Volunteer support.
To find out more about the Volunteer Centre please telephone Kathy on 01757 291111 or visit the website http://www.selbydistrictvolunteercentre.org.uk/
