Community Learning & Training

Community training and learning offer a range of training courses to meet the needs and demands of the voluntary sector.

Offer a range of non-accredited taster courses as well as First Aid, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2 which are regularly offered to meet the demands placed on voluntary organisations.

Training courses are delivered both in Community House using the extensive audio visual equipment and in community settings such as Children’s Centres across the district, taking learning out into the community.

Training facilities at Community House are used to deliver courses from other providers such as Adult Learning Services, Leeds Metropolitan University, in conjunction with Harrogate College.
