  District Alcohol Service

We offer

  • Assessment
After individuals have contacted DAS they will be invited for an assessment appointment, during this session we will establish what has brought you to the service and talk about what happens next.
  • Alcohol Support
The core function of DAS is to offer structured support in order to motivate change in individual’s relationship with alcohol. During sessions we examine patterns of use, triggers, strategies for change and managing social situations. We also recognise that alcohol is often one of many issues and individual is facing and as such it can be useful to discuss other areas of concern and signpost to relevant agencies.
  • Family alcohol support
Support for individuals who may have concerns regarding the alcohol consumption of a family member or friend.
